unexpected muse

i am largely self-taught. it was not until just a few months after a sports-inflicted surgery many years ago when I had the inclination to paint while still in recovery. I then started learning the basics of oil pastels, and a few months later, I delved into oil. Eureka! I found solace in the intricate process of it all. I am in love.
